As of late I've been a bit of a www.hulu.com nut. Via that site I've been watching the final BSG episodes.
Any theories on how it ends? My two are either we wind up being surprised with a 'guess what, we're all really Cylons' scenario or a predictable 'we set everything up to happen again' one. Still, even with the final episodes coming I find myself wanting more BSG oddly. It has been a good sci-fi series in a time when we don't seem to have much of it. Even when things go completely whack. And by whack I mean in ways that don't even make sense. _________________

I have watched them all in their entirety. I think it's been a huge mistake that I even wasted my time watching any of it.
I could so curb stomp Eick and the other guy, and feel little to no remorse for it.
This show has been the biggest disappointment I can recall having experienced.
I can't properly put into words how bad it has been. Yet because I had some glimmer of hope that it might get better, I rode this train straight into oblivion.
You could lobotomize me, and I could still write a better show, and ending, than this. Oh, and I'm all up for the lobotomy so I can forget they ever did this terrible perversion of a BSG remake.
On a lighter note, I have no internet, I am working a dead end entry level midnight shift job, and I'm only getting older.
Peace out. _________________ "anyone up for RP?"

The ending somewhat surprised me. I agree, there are things I didn't like along the way, but it sounded like they had the entire story written before they even began filming the first episode. They should've went with some of their unused ideas as well.
That aside, I liked it. However, I've got little want of seeing the new spin-off series Caprica simply because I'm not interested in a prequel series.
Glen Larson is apparently trying to get a movie adaptation locked in as well. I think it may ultimately flop though because it sounds as though he wants to make it like the original series rather than the re-make series. Which will probably come off as Star Trek-esque re-invisioning of Battlestar Galactica all over again really. If it ever even sees the light of day. _________________

I was watching Eureka last night and there was an ad for the straight to DVD Caprica on there. Not sure if it was a pilot or the first season. _________________ "Unthinking respect for authority is the greatest enemy of truth." - Albert Einstein

That's the pilot.
Think that was suppose to come out on straight to dvd. Then sometime, next year I think, the series was going to launch with that being the Pilot. It's locked in at any rate. _________________
