Rinna and I aren't actively working on this, but we have made some progress indirectly while working on a few the other space collections. We aren't pushing too hard on the space collections in general, because after Chap 7 and the ground collections, we are very tired of the grind.

I know a few others were working on it, but haven't heard how successful they have been. I believe Cryil was killing Black Suns this last week and I am sure his eyes are bleeding from the ordeal. smile

Warning Negative Rant from a Person Tired of the Collection Grind:

They claimed the collections were introduced to provide something to do while working on the game content. I think this is wise. Unfortunately, until they complete any new content for us to do, the collections become the new content. And killing hundreds if not thousands of creatures just to complete part of larger collection can get very tedious. When the content team starts rolling in new content maybe this will seem better with it working as intended.

They did add a feather duster collection so you can have your very own feather duster.

Rant over. For now.

Ya it looks like alot of kills, are these kills generated by missions or can you just randomly kill rebel ships, and are they only counted in PvP zones, or anywhere?

Been on one but that's it. They're tiered like a lot of the space reward kill collections.

Speaking of the Privateer Ship, let me tell you a story...

Once apon a time, there was a guy who (I'm assuming) worked the grind for days or even weeks at a time in order to get a Gunship. He finally gets it, but when he looks at it his heart sinks. The Gunship only has 3 Mill Mass (approx), it's supposed to have 5 Mill Mass like the POB's.

Disheartened, this young fellow comes up with a plan. He'll sell his "crappy" Gunship, and eventually buy a "good" one. Along comes a young pirate overhearing this dilemma. The pirate is offered this "crappy" Gunship for a resonable fee and accepts.

It's unknown if the young man ever realized that 3 Mill (approx) is the Max mass for a Gunship. However somewhere in the galaxy, there is a happy pirate.

((P.S. I don't know how much of that story is true, lol. This dude sold his Gunship for cheap, and the Mass is the only reason I can think of why someone would go through all that trouble just to get rid of their reward. Who knows))
