And just a Group Tip if your interested.
What I would do, depending on your group size, is assign each person a planet. That way not everyone need fool with all the waypoints. Just be sure the group is keeping up at the Clicky points so no one misses anything.
From my experience plan on doing maybe one planet an evening if you go this route for casual play.
You could apply this to all the clickies (Comlink, Datapad, Potted Plants, Lights, Dancing Droid and Rock Collections) as well. _________________

Superb thread Batty.
I'm going to see if i can use these WP's to provide a "walk through" to try and speed up the planets (and include shuttles to use)
careful though as some sites are guarded. _________________

So is this kinda like POI's in the sense you just go the waypoint and get a system message?
I thought there were rewards or something for badges attained that were already in game and stuff or is that the village?
What's up with C3PO's commlink?
I'm so confused... _________________ Forum guarded by Blast Cannons three days a week. Guess which days.

Nope. At each waypoint, you'll find a weapon either sitting on the ground or on a table, propped up against a wall, etc. as if it was left there by an NPC. When you mouse over the weapon, your cursor will turn into a hand. Click the weapon, and you'll get a 5-second countdown while it is added to your collection. Be careful, though, because collecting some of the weapons will trigger aggro from nearby critters and/or NPC's.

There are kill collections that have been added. Once you talk to certain NPC's (There are four, I believe, spread over the galaxy), you can do 2 collections per NPC. Some are just click collections (find X number of "burning rocks" throughout the galaxy and click them to add to your collection) and some are kill collections (kill 2 bajillion womp rats).

C3PO's commlink will begin the starter collections and show you where the Mos Eisley collection NPC is. _________________ Rinna/Rinna'

Thanks for the info I thought they were also adding rewards for current badges...I dunno for instance like if you had collected 50 badges, 100 badges, etc. and then additional prizes for existing kill badges such as Sher Kar, and other named elites. Maybe that was something old I read awhile back that never came to pass. /shrug
So what is involved with getting meditate? I'm sure enough people have done it that we can have a little how-to written up in here or something. _________________ Forum guarded by Blast Cannons three days a week. Guess which days.

How to get Meditation and Waistpack Holocrons:
Spend countless hours killing Force Sensitive NPC's in the Northeastern Portion of Dantooine. Elite Darks drop Sith Holos and all other Force Sensitive drop Jedi Holos. Nightsisters also drop Sith holos. Rinse and repeat.
On a sidenote it took me just over 30 hours of grinding to finish my Meditation line, and that is with help from fellow players. It took Amunet around 60 hours. Its all in the luck of the loot. From my understanding the loot droprate as of late is even worse, but I cannot atest to the accuracy of said claims. |

Ok so I take it you need to collect holocrons. Is there any benefit to getting one type over the other? What happens once you have them that leads to meditate? You mentioned filling a "line"...is there a meditate xp bar or something that holodrons fill? _________________ Forum guarded by Blast Cannons three days a week. Guess which days.

Each collection is basically logged as an accumuluation of certain items, logged in a "line" on your collections page as you attain them.
For Meditation you need Jedi Meditation Holocron 1 thru Jedi Meditation Holocron 5 and Sith Med Holo 1 thru Sith Med Holo5. That is 10 total holocrons. Each holo you loot is numbered so you need all 10 individual holos, not just 5 random Jedi and 5 random Sith. Also, it looks like the number 2 and 4 holos are of the rarest of the list.
The same goes for the Jedi waistpack. You need a total of 5 Jedi Waistpack Holos and 5 Siths as well.
Once you get your 10th Meditate holo the Meditate ability will become innate and set on your commands list. You can then /sit then /meditate.
Once you begin, as a Jedi, every 30 seconds or so you will see the old Jedi Meditate animation and get 1 of 3 Buffs (Vision of the Past, Present or Future) randomly ... if you dont want that particular buff you wait another 30 seconds or so for the next buff in the cycle. Once you get the buff you want, you stand up and go. The buffs last 4 minutes and 30 seconds.
Its neat to have it back, but not really worth the effort as a functional use, especially if you arent Jedi. |

OK that makes sense. Wow they really make you jump through hoops for an old animation lol. I suppose it beats sitting around twiddling my claws though. _________________ Forum guarded by Blast Cannons three days a week. Guess which days.
