I have interviewed the defendant twice. Giza claims no knowledge of the crimes of which she has been accused. She states that at the time of the incident she was alone in Ruby's Cantina. She states she has no criminal record and has not participated in criminal activity in the past. The defendant wishes to plead not guilty. The defendant wishes to appear in court on her own behalf.

I have interviewed Killies, the assault victim, twice. In his first interview he described how he left the Desert Angel Cantina following a business appointment and noticed activity in the alley. He entered the alley where he saw the assailant. He described the assailant as a dark blue Twi'lek wearing dark clothing, a mask and wielding two knives. He stated that the assailant spoke to him as he was attacked but the assailant's words were not discernable. He was attacked by the Twi'lek and was severely injured, receiving multiple knife wounds and broken bones resulting from blunt object trauma. He described items which were removed from his person following the assault, a 45k credit chip and a ring. Following the attack, he crawled to the porch of the Desert Angel where he was discovered by Zyre Mercutio. In my second interview with Killies, I provided a recording of Giza's voice which he was unable to identify as being that of his assailant.

I have interviewed Zyre Mercutio who first reported the incident after discovering the victim. Mr. Mercutio states that he found Killies unconscious on the porch of the Desert Angel then re-entered the Desert Angel and contacted authorities. He did not witness any criminal acts. He did not see Killies' assailant. He saw no one suspicious in the area. Considering that Mr. Mercutio can only attest to the physical condition of the victim and is not a physician and to the approximate time and location of the attack (which can be more accurately substantiated elsewhere), I see no reason to subpoena him for testimony during the trial.

I have met with Imperial Internal Organization Bureau Investigator, Officer Andro Sinn, three times. The extent of the first interview was specific to his eyewitness account of the activities outside of the Desert Angel, from where he stood on the rooftop of the Post Office on the night in question. He stated that he went to the rooftop after picking up his mail. He noticed movement in the alley and then saw Killies leave the Desert Angel. He watched as Killies entered the alley where he was attacked by a dark blue Twi'lek who appeared to be female and wearing dark blue or black clothing, lekku wraps and a veil or mask. After Killies had succumbed to the attack, Officer Sinn saw the assailant remove objects from Killies person and flee the scene of the incident, running East, past the front of the Post Office. Officer Sinn stated that it was a quiet night and that he heard no discernable noises prior to the attack on Killies. I asked specifically if he had heard the sound of paint being sprayed. He stated that he had not.

I explained to Officer Sinn that I had observed from him in the past, behavior which led me to suspect that his visor contained one or more imaging devices. He confirmed that his visor was used to record imagery necessary to his job. I asked to view any images or video he recorded the night of the assault on Killies. He said he would review the images to assure they contained no classified information. We arranged a date and time for a follow-up meeting.

During our second meeting, Officer Sinn showed me video imagery which corroborates his statements exactly. He stated that the video does not contain any classified information and may be submitted as evidence in the trial. I asked Officer Sinn if, in his service to the Imperium, he had received training which would enable him to provide psychological evaluation of criminals and criminal behavior. He stated that such was imperative to his work. I asked if he considered himself qualified to appear in such a context as a professional witness in the upcoming trial. He stated that he would be glad to oblige the court in such a capacity.

Our third meeting was conducted at the request of Officer Sinn. He showed me a document. After discussing the document Officer Sinn and I agreed that it would be appropriate to take the Kivas of Temple of the Goddess, Xyryn and myself, into protective custody while he initialized investigation of the document. Kiva Xyryn and I were happy to cooperate. We were taken into custody by Officer Sinn and Colonel Mayth Seragon and transported to a very comfortable detainment facility. After conferring with High Inquisitor Nurmeans, Officer Sinn released us from custody. By order of High Inquisitor Nurmeans and Officer Sinn, I am not at liberty to disclose any additional information regarding this document, at this time.*

One concerned citizen, who wishes to remain anonymous, has come forward offering video imagery of the crime scene prior to the commitment of any of the crimes of which Giza has been accused. Upon examination (and following enhancement of the images), this evidence shows activity by a dark blue Twi'lek wearing dark clothing and a veil or mask. The devices used to record this video were disabled before the crimes in question were committed. The facial covering inhibits identification of the individual seen in the images. The timestamp on the images corroborates the timestamp on images provided by Andro Sinn. Because Officer Sinn's testimony is irrefutable and considering that these images do not directly evidence the crimes in question, I see no reason to subpoena this citizen or submit these images into evidence.**

I have interviewed the defendant's friend, Xen'ya, who was present at the arrest. She has no information pertinent to the crimes of which Giza has been accused; however, I may subpoena her to appear as a character witness on the behalf of the defendant.

*OOC note: If accepted into this arc in its original state, this document would radically affect the roleplay of Temple of the Goddess guild and its members, without their consent. Xyryn reserves the prerogative to reject the contents of this document from Temple of the Goddess roleplay. It is my understanding that Andro, Nyvveck and Fedaykin are reconsidering this document.

**OOC note: This player is undecided whether or not he wants to be actively involved in this arc and specifically requested anonymity until that decision is reached.
