forums work to a degree but you can't have a true discussion also, that's where a small meeting can get through a things a lot faster. a healthy mix of the 2 can help. i've posted more in the last 2 weeks purely because of the meetings 
and Dew, you pulled me though a horrible day at work and now i am snug at home playing Halo 3 waiting for my steak dinner
I wasn't fighting you i was debating strongly

As I've said, "If they show up, groovy. If not, whatever." Their attendence is their business, and if they choose not to come, I'm not going to lose sleep over it.
Keep it simple, and let the chips fall where they may.

You stepped up to the plate, when it was needed. You said what needed to be said, even if it was not phrased PC. You have initiated a good, casual roleplay, in the game, too. We have known that the community meeting was in a bad time slot for quite a while, now. But, we believed that people were not interested. We begged for input, and got none other than "Oh no, don't change it just for me".
Ok, we are calling for time and day preferences from everyone for a (hopefully) one time meeting.
Yes, be prepared for it to last longer than one hour, be prepared to say things that will upset the thin-skinned. We want to solve a problem, and we don't really want to tip-toe around the daisies...biggest time waster in the universe. Let's get together and decide where we want to be, and how we will get there...whether it is to permanently split the community, or to play nice with each other.

I'm not moving to Mexico or anything, just stepping back and letting the Guild Leaders do what they are there to do.
They don't need some unguilded guy throwing his two cents in on everything. If they want my 2 cents, I'll gladly offer it up, lol. I feel like I'm "Back-seat Driving", but in a community sense, lol.
I'd rather focus my time on RP and creating some for those who want it.
