I liked Ryker. Some times he had his moments of stupidity but hey, he is a million times better then Chekote or however you spell his name. _________________

Maybe they're jealous 'cause he hooked up with Troi? _________________ Rinna/Rinna'

Are you kidding me? Troi must have slept with every newcomer to the Enterprise. She was almost as bad as kirk. She was the village bicycle of the alpha quadrant. _________________

I preferred Dr Crusher or Tasha Yar myself. If we are going there. _________________ "Unthinking respect for authority is the greatest enemy of truth." - Albert Einstein

"Ryker" is a user on this forum, "Riker" is a Star Trek character. Stop the flaming people, it's not nice.

Hmmm, I don't know about all the other Riker-dislikers, and I'm not sure if it was the character or the actor...he just didn't belong, at least not in the Command Track. He did not inspire confidence in his leadership ability. Picard was a winner, as a command person...and Cisco was right up there with him.
Kirk was...well, tolerable. You had to make allowances for his randiness, but he could put it aside. And, he had an excellent Number 1 as well as a better crew. Janeway was a little too indecisive, at times, allowed her emotions to get in the way. _________________ "It is. Deal with it." |

I'd say Janeway was a bit TOO decisive. Chakotay and Tuvok butted heads with her many times only to have her pull rank and get things done the way she wanted.
Riker was always my favorite TNG character (as if you couldnt tell) mainly because he wasnt in command. Ive always found the 1st officers the most intriguing because they are in a unique spot of running the ship (duty rosters, command staffing, postings) without actually getting credit for the day to day operations. And say what you will, when Riker was in command, things got done. |

Sorry Ryker, I meant Riker.... hmmm makes ya think tho...
Anyways....Riker from TNG should die a most embarrassing and dishonrable death.... sorta like choke on a Tribble or whatever those furry little ball things are (which I hope are a playable race in the game!) _________________

When it comes to names I tend to copy others because I have not the slightest clue and it sounded right. I ask for forgiveness I offer Dew's porn collection as an offering. _________________
