I can understand the Fed style, where he does it 'cause his toon would. However, those guys who do it for real, and get bent when the female toon warns it is male...or get bent when the female doesn't respond "properly"...those are the ones I don't understand. _________________ "It is. Like a lot of things people do behind a mask of anonymity, it's just another fantasy. They want the person behind the attractive Amazon warrior to be just as attractive. That's the image that they have in their mind. Once that image is disrupted (as it always is), they get angry. Angry at the other person for not being what they expected, and perhaps angry at themselves for having such illogical expectations. _________________ I like my coffee like I like my women. Thats why I like what Nyvveck did. His character is damn right scary and ugly. It is the same in real life. _________________ Spelling errors are what separate us from the masheens.

Like I said I rather say no to both and play the game. In Conan I plan on doing a completely different character then Jaminos. I will be using the same name most likely because it works in both future and fantasy settings. However I most likely will go barbarian an be a tank/damage (not because it is like Conan but because I want to)
My other choice might being a Lich just because it is fun to club thy enemies whilst I am a living dead. _________________

Keeping the same name through different games also helps with identification. Not just in a literal sense (ie, "Oh hey, there's that guy I used to game with!"), but also in a figurative sense.
For many of us, a name is all we get to see of each other. If a name changes, then our whole perception of the person behind the name can change. _________________ I like my coffee like I like my women. Ground up and in the freezer.

In an RP game, changing others perception of your character might be the desired effect tho. And how much baggage will you bring to another game using the same name. _________________

It's not necessarily the perception of your character that can change, but the perception of you.
Just a thought. _________________ I like my coffee like I like my women. Ground up and in the freezer.

You do have to admit, how you play your character dose reflect somewhat of who you are. Grant it I am not a cold anti socialist killer but Jaminos dose reflect a part of who I am even if it is a small part.
The new Jaminos for Conan will be very much so different and I plan on him being a headstrong killer who has an insatiable bloodlust. I plan on getting him into as many bar fights as I can. I want him to be an absolute ruthless killer just slaughter anyone who tell him he is not the best in Hyboria. Now that is not a part of me as more of a representation of my pride.
Where as SWG Jaminos is a representation of my view on life. Fight for #1 because there are too many people out there trying to screw you. Don't get me wrong I am not that dark it is just a bigger representation of it. _________________

He's anti-social, Jam. Socialists are members of the socialist political party. Just thought I'd clear that up. (granted, he could very well be anti-socialist as well, for all I know) _________________ I like my coffee like I like my women. Ground up and in the freezer.

Just because you don't proofread doesn't mean you shouldn't use the right words, even if you don't spell them correctly. _________________ I like my coffee like I like my women. Ground up and in the freezer.

In my defense I thought I had wrote it correctly. And I did, I just got the two crossed. It is not a big deal anyhow. _________________

I haven't been just a huge follower of the older or newer Conan comics but do they seem to be borrowing any of their look material from them?
A recognizable armor set from a comic? Something from the movie? Kind of like what we've had with SWG.
So far nothing has stood out too much other than a few of the snake heads from the first Arnold movie. Mostly new design material from the looks of it. _________________

It looks like a collection of all types. I recognize some armor from comics and some from drawing and some from the movies. I am sure it is a big jumble of all of them. _________________
