I feel ya, Drew. Just your luck your character name happened to be a main character name from the series. 
With how many times Iago has called Batak a Klingon; I may just make it so.

Batak a Klingon?!? 
Of course, Iago's told me that he plans on rolling a Vulcan, himself. Personally, I've always thought of Iago as more of a Ferengi.... *shrug*

Ferengi does seem kinda... Iago-ish.

E-bo would be a Romulan if I decided to take the character there. I don't think that is going to happen though. I always wanted to play a Klingon. Although i think they will actually be the easiest race to RP. Unless of couorse you take the Duros family route. That would make it a little more interesting.

We're still plotting the USS Gorath. There's plenty of time left, so we'll worry about it when it's closer to beta.

I can't go Ferengi. The greed thing just isn't my style. I can RP a Vulcan, though - but OOC I'd still be me, so maybe I should reconsider so I don't seem so split-personalitied between OOC and IC.

Depends. Look at Quark. He had an argument one time where he was discussing why he was a bartender and not something like an Arms Dealer. Why? "Because I'm a people person! I like interacting with my customers. Weapons are so; Impersonal. They just want their weapons and go." --not exact but close to what he said in the episode.
So, I guess I'm thinking more of a Quark-ish Iago Ferengi than the usual all the latinum in the quadrant grubbing Ferengi.
I could see the Jart character ported over as a Vulcan easy though.
But, indeed, you'll still be you. 
Maybe I should change Batak to Grok?

Quark's still greedy with a few instances of selflessness. Rom and his son aren't greedy, though. I like to play characters that go against their stereotype...but Trek is notorious for that type of characterization. Since most have already been done, I'd rather stick with the racial stereotype.
