You need to be in an RPvP guild.
We make ourselves available 24/7 for battle in large and small groups so that everyone can get their RP in without feeling like they are getting ganked. People who RP against us but can't be dealt with by our force are going to get the big ignore if this happens.
If you have publicly picked up arms against us then you are our enemy and will be treated as such. If you can't put yourself in danger like everyone else then you need to stay out of this arc.
This is fair for everyone, and it's how this arc will be played.

So are you getting people who wont do the duel method? I mean I am sure from time to time people will RP and not be a member of a guild in active guild war with MERCS.

Thats not the point thought Dew. I don't see for one why it's our responsibility to stand there and all 4, 6, 8 ect duel someone. It's what a call a break down point that causes alot of confusion between both parties. Especially when there is a large amount of fighting going on.
The other point is that a person can pretty much pick and choose as to when they feel the need to accept consequences to their actions. Thats metagaming to the extreme in my opinion. |

Well I wouldn't exclude someone from RP because their guild isn't in the guild war, I would exclude them if they choose not to follow the RP being played out. Thas all I was saying.

| I'm not saying that either. But if your going to take physical action against MERCS, then expect to get it in turn and don't think that not being in the immersion war means you can pick and choose your battles if your faced with a group of us. |

i think he's refering to the fact dStar decimated his people last night i got blamed for it. and for the record. -i- challenged 4 members of mercs. they opened fire first and ignored me. thats your problem not mine. im not in a guild because i dont think with my odd play schedule it would be fair to a guild for me to be part of one.
i guess that means im not allowed to roleplay anymore in merc-turnus

Can anyone shed some light for the community on this?
What were the numbers and what happened? Was it a matter of 2 MERCS walking around town and being ambushed by like, 4 of these Dstar people? As I understand it, because I was on vent with a MERC member when it was apparently happening, it was a matter of shuttle-port ganking. He was dead the second he logged in by Dstar. (which in my opinion, shuttle-ganking is bullshit)

My intel told me there was an attack on one of my officers. One of my other officers came to aid, with some back up. Somewhere between 10-12 Mercs where there so more back up was called. DSTAR has 3 active members at the moment. I'm not sure if all of them were there or not. There was a brief battle, then regroup, and another battle from what I understand. DSTAR and a few others had some Mercs in custody as they were able to lure them away from the main group, it seems everyone got upset at this point and I am having trouble figuring out what happened.
So I would like somt light as well. But from what I understand there was no gank squad.

I think the numbers were 4 vs 5 to their favor.
I'm not saying that Sharn, and no my comments were to anyone who is going to take us on and expect a full group of us to stand there and duel them. I don't think it's to much to ask for people who want to get involved to make themselves available at all times if they want to get involved...even if it means making a 1 man/woman guild.
I know lastnight I was getting all kinds of tells from the people there, and they seemed pretty damn confused to me. Confusion makes things not fun for the people who have to deal with it, and that's not you. |

Well, unless some magical members popped online...your intel isn't that clear.
There was a group of 7 MERCS in Noct doing a patrol around 9pm. We left around 9:50 to head to the Ryall. Reb, Gurg, Revis, and Darec returned to Noct because someone there was telling them over /tells that there was a group of dissidents in Noct. So, I sent them there in a small group to check things out. As soon as they got off the shuttle, there was a firefight and I received a /tell from Rebecca requesting backup. We arrived and neutralized the one person we took fire from (Huntsman) then proceeded to interrogate him in a cell at our Noct HQ where he swallowed something to mimic death.
After that, the group scattered and the 4 previously mentioned individuals hung around in Noct and were attacked about 15 mins later by Sharn and her group of Dstar people. Now, I'm not certain what went down during that attack, but I know just about everyone there was DB'd by Dstar immediately. I asked Sharn why my people were DB'd and her response was that the Dstar leader did not know the RPvP rules. To me, thats bullshit because I met with him in private the day we agreed to let them in and told him THREE TIMES to come here and read the RPvP rules.
That's what went down from the information I have and was part of. |

I don't know much about them other then a meeting I had with them at Nym's before I let them enter the arch. I told their leader to read our RPvP rules and keep up with whats going on. |
