For it to work properly, the guild leaders should represent your views at the meeting. This way you will have a say in matters. I would suggest getting in touch with your guild leader and letting them know what your concerns are.
It then falls on the guild leaders to represent their guildmates views and not just their own at the meeting.
But that's just one way we can work this.
(Again this coming from someone who's not a guild leader and is off the hook.  )
