The question is, how was the arc DB's and why? I mean how did the person that DB'd the arc ID the arc when they arc was wearing a cloak, and why DB? Why couldn't the arc just go prone after being incapped? I believe that the arc was actually logging out when it was DB too.
OMG, they DB'd the arc.... You Bastards!!!

Ok, for those who are actually trying to be constructive here:
I think we need to go ahead with the proposed OOC meeting between the guildleaders and prominent players in this arc. I really believe this is the first necessary step to recovering the fun we were having. That way, we can pinpoint exactly what went wrong, explain it to those who are a bit lost (/pointat self and Cym), and lay out a plan to avoid such issues as we continue. I am available any night this week except for Tuesday (I have a class Tues. nights). Let's get the ball rolling again, shall we? _________________ Rinna/Rinna'

First - Novall, you and Mercs have been doing a great job with the Noc Arc. I've enjoyed getting to know some of you better and look forward to getting to know you better still. You all have been good sports about being 'Bad Guys' - I hope Temple has too
Second - While I understand your desire to simply not deal with BS from the woefully aggrieved (always someone, neh?), honestly - they aren't required to play in the arc. If people have made plays they don't like maybe next time they'll think things through.
It's simply a shame that an arc that was engaging and fun for us has been closed and I hope you reconsider. I hope your guys were having a good time. I sure was
This community kowtows to the vocal few far too often, IMHO and I hate to see the naysayers win - ever. If someone doesn't want to play in the arc - well, they really don't have to. (sorry if I was rambling) _________________ Good...Bad... I'm the one with the gun. |

A thing that Spyte just pointed out, and I would like to underscore: While the Mercs and Imperials are "bad guys", so are Temple and the individual resistors.
Depends on your point of view.
Nyvveck has been saying that right along. _________________ "It is. Deal with it." |

/agree with Rinna.
We need to get that meeting going, ASAP. We could possibly do it as an OOC Schola this Wednesday?
We could hold it in City Hall, if the attendees are more than Temple could hold. _________________ "It is. Deal with it." |

I think it would be best to just have guild leaders meet, and they can relay all info back to their members. If the members have questions they can post them to the leaders and they can be brought up during the meeting. If we stuff a venue full of people nothing will get accomplished as it usually ends up with everyone talking over one another. |

There are a few independents in this arc, I think. Not sure. _________________ "It is. Deal with it." |

I agree with An'drew here and it should be limited to guild leaders or their reps if they can't make it. Too many people and it's not constructive. This should be a case of Representative Democracy.
Any independents should be included based upon their level of participation.
We should be strict about who is allowed there. It's not a case of wanting to exclude people, but wanting to keep things streamlined and constructive.
Also by only including the guild leaders, it keeps some of the plot twists/surprises away from the general masses. This makes for a more exciting story.
But keep in mind who this opinion is coming from. I am not a guild leader in Avant and AoD is not really involved, so I shouldn't be involved directly. _________________ Nurian Avari

Well everyone already knows I loved the Noc invasion arc.
Just keep me posted, maybe I will regret deleting those log files after all _________________

I know i'm not much of an RPer (just not experienced much) but can I throw in my 2 cents about this meeting?
Can some one post a thread about the major issues that will be discussed so that non-guild leaders can maybe throw out some other possibly-valuable questions or topics that need to be added?
I know i don't need to be included in the major discussion itself, but could there be some sort of feedback area... or even... schedule 2 meetings... meet once, post the discussions/issues, a few days or a week to discuss it ingame and in GC, and then meet again to come up with the final resolutions?
I do think the meeting needs to be guild-leaders only, or guild-leaders +1 kind of thing, but I think there needs to be some way for the rest of us involved to have some feedback so we don't feel we don't have any say.
just my opinion tho _________________ The message was sent via blackberry |
