That way I know whether to be freelance or rebel. (if I can make it) |
I've learned that sign-up lists are highly inaccurate because thigns come up, etc. I would say that since we only need 3-4 privateers, being Rebel would be better. Privateers are non-combat, they'll be going in to set the detonation sequence.

How do Imperials win? For now it just seems they have to blow up all the Rebels? Is there a WP that if the transport is escorted to safely the Imperials win?
Also what needs to happen before the self distruct sequence can begin? Do the rebels have to eliminate the Imperials first? If not then having non-combat deliver the sequence seems a tad unfair.
Sorry just trying to understand. |

The Rebels win by either wiping out the Imperials or by forcing all of them to stay at least 2500m away from the transport.
The Imperials win by eliminating the Rebels or forcing them to withdraw.
The privateers are on standby through the battle. After the Rebels eliminate the Imperials, they are the only ships authorized to upload the destruct sequence. The privateers will have to work together as a group to upload the destruct sequence properly. One mistake will alarm the transport and it will jump to lightspeed. I will be sending that group an email with detailed instructions on how to accomplish this task.
Privateer is more for people who don't want to fight but play an important role in the scenario.
The transport will probably shift course once the attack begins in order to avoid being damaged - so it will be a matter of who is eliminated first and not buying time. If there is any trickery going on, like people going in for repairs and coming back - I may be forced to make judgement call.
Rebels, Imps - please just kill each other the old fashioned way.
Again, this will modify the ease in which the rest of the arc will play out, but won't stop the progression.

Yes, correct. I'll make sure the group leaders are reminded of this sometime during the launch window.

The Rebels won easily due to 3:1 numbers. It lasted about 30 seconds unfortunately. The destruct sequence was sent properly and the ship was destroyed.
No more replication on Lok for the rest of the event. I will have the ground stuff ready to go ASAP so we can wrap things up.

after the self-destruct, the resulting explosion caused me to lock up. So I missed anything that happened afterward. _________________ "anyone up for RP?"

There seems to be a lot of that going around this summer. Ingame, I've been getting lag and some other strange behaviors where I never did before maybe April. Out of game, but on the net, I'm getting some weird activity. Only when I have all connection to the outside world shut down, do I have a smoothly working, powerfull machine.
And the weather has been no help. _________________ "It is. Deal with it." |
