First I am no good at this trader thing, pricing, offers, etc...
These being the highest energy and recharge rate I have, would take away from my RE project so compensation would need to be worth it to me.

- Its a variation of the Rendili FG1-A Blaster

That sounds like a Reverse Engineered gun to me.. the "variation of" thing in the name gives that away. _________________ Until SOE puts fun back in to SWG, you won't find me in it either. |

It could be, I'm pretty much a nub when it comes to space parts, lol. I'm pretty sure I looted it in Kashyykk Space though.
If anyone has the Rendili FG1-A Blaster, I might be intrested in that too. There is one on the vendor but they're asking 20 Mill.
Also Jmac since you seem to know your space parts, heres a question. When a crafter is making a weapon, can they choose what to upgrade/degrade?
Basically, I'm wondering if they could make a High Damage, Low Mass blaster. If something has to suck, they could increase the reactor drain. I have a 51K Gen reactor, so I don't mind eating some of that power up.

Re'engineering works the following way:
You take the component analysys tool and you add the components for what you want to re engineer. However the components must follw the following rules:
- They must be of the same kind (if youre going to RE a weapon then all the components must be weapons)
- You must introduce as many components as the RE level of the component you want to make (if you want to make a lvl 7 weapon you need 7 lvl 7 weapons, if you want to make a lvl 5 weapon you need 5 lvl 5 weapons, and so on)
After you add the components then you annalize it and the tool will make the new component (it will melt them all into one). The stats depend on the components you added to the tool. The tool will take the best components from each component and use it to create the new one. There is also an improvement in percentage (%) that affects the creation on your new component which is also based on the lvl of the component you are trying to make. The higher the lvl the higher the % bonus you get.
For example:
We want to make a lvl 2 reactor.
We add 2 lvl 2 reactors to the component analisys tool.
The stats on the reactors are as follows (please note these are not actual stats cause i dont remember the stats right now on lvl 2 reactors):
Reactor 1: ______________ Reactor 2:
Mass 1112 ______________ 1325
Energy 4274 ____________ 5131
Then the component analisys tool will take the best stat for mass which belongs to reactor 1, and the best stat for energy which belongs to reactor 2.
At the end the stats of your newly created lvl 2 reactor would be as follows:
Mass 1089,76 (1112 - 2%)
Energy 5233,62 (5131 + 2%)

| Isn't the % bonus based on skill level? I thought it used to be based on how many SW skills you had. Obviously being a Master you got the best % bonus on RE'd parts. |
