Yeah, I added all the guilds to my list that were participating.

The good, the bad, and the ugly!

So I understand in a larger group that others on my side per say might target me "accidentally".

I'll add NRC tonight as well. And yeah it is interesting having everyone a red dot to you. It definitely makes you look to see who's who.

I think for the first time I passed you in game last night. But I didn't have the chance to meet you IC so still just know you as a dark figure that was talking to a guy in stormtrooper armor in the clinic and complaining about a headache.

We might want yet another Sticky so we can post our Guild War actives just so we can get everyone on the same page.

As of now I've got the following turned on:

PrCon
Avant
NRC
Mercs
RD

And I'm waiting on the following:

-One- (Hash'll be back soon)

Kretl (As per Rinna's request I've got it on my list)

Well I noted all the guilds I thought were involved in the Guild War - Participants thread if we want to use that. Should someone new join we can update it?

I asked Hashum about it before and he said we weren't on GW with each other because we were allies. I don't think he ever planned to turn it on with Temple.

That's cool. I wasn't sure if we were shooting for friendly fire or not. *somewhat clueless leader* cool

So we need to activate the guild war with only those guilds on the opposite side?

Would that mean RD vs. all the others?

I liked the idea of everyone being on the list. Should we be in a larger battle and someone not know me or not be paying attention I like the unknown chance that they might take a pop at me.

Friendly fire, as sad as it is, has a good chance to happen in a war. If we are shooting for the RL feeling, then I think we should leave that opprotunity there?

Ya I think the idea was for everyone to add everyone, it can add the chance of betrayals or other such happenings, sure that guild is allied with us now, but keep an eye on them, they might turn on us at some point.

Example of this might be someone like MERCS, they might start shooting the other way when the creds run out big grin

/agree Dew

Plus friendly fire is a part of battle. If a stray round I fire hits one of the Dancers, I'll have some explaining to do.

Plus it makes using exposives and other tactics in crowded places have consequences. Otherwise I could drop one in the club and only my enemies would be hurt. Its more realistic with everyone involved.

Ya friendly fire is a good option, this area attacks and such you have to think a little more before blasting a general

Wish we had a back door on buildings to lay some traps and lure someone in while running out the back!

I agree. Allies aside everyone should be on with everyone. In a situation such as the infamous "grenade incident" where there are a lot of people packed into a confined space odds are that stray blaster shots are going to hit random people - hence "stray"- and not just enemies. Melee fighters in close range will likely swing into someone accidentally or parry a swipe into someone standing too close. Traps don't care who you are - they go off for anyone, etc.

what made that whole incident more interesting was that with the exception of one or two people, everyone in there was red....made for very tense moments leading up to the mystery grenade. smile
