There are some known bugs with getting on and let alone finishing the SD Heroic at the moment but I'm willing to head a group up. Generally what would be the best time this weekend or perhaps the following (see post date) for everyone?

I'm already assuming needing to run out to The Village and run everyone through the pre-req quests.

Looking like this Saturday then. Best start time for those that have posted?

So far I know you've got to:

1. Pick up quest at the Village
2. Buy a waypoint from any droid Ticket Collector
3. Investigate the waypoint (Endor)
4. Configure a device (similar to an old FS quest)
5. Look for a Black Sun loot drop (Endor)
6... ?

We'll try to get the group caught up and hopefully hit the SD. Again, known bugs may cut this short or make it just a trial run.

I'm Rebel still. But if any of you happen to be Neutral we can play around with it that way. I haven't read up on the instance yet so we could at least have a surprise the first few runs.

i tried to do the neutral one, he told me to bug off, in not as many words. i am rebel. so neutral might be neutral only. good luck finding a group:)

We'll see who all we get Saturday. I'm just going to guess afternoon CST whenever we've got everyone on as the best time for now. 3pm on?

If all three 'factions' have the same quests I imagine we'll all need catching up to the Endor part. Should only take us twenty minutes or so then we'll be flogging some Black Sun Elites.

As for getting to the Star Destroyer we'll have to figure out what we've got. If we've got a mixed group hopefully someone will have a Neutral toon to POB us to the SD. I'm just guessing that's one way to do this with a multi-aligned group atm. It could be rigidly aligned. The pre-req quests are certainly alignment specific though.

I'm game. also here's a walkthrough:

Phase 1: Have a Jedi tank the boss guy and everyone else concentrate fire on a single grenadier. Have All Object Names turned on so you can see where the grenades are on the ground and avoid them - basically treat this part as you do the phase of Axkva with all the Force Storms and Firepits. Once the Grenadiers are all dead, focus on the Boss and again, avoid the fire breakouts on the ground.

Phase 2: Don't leave the area where you start this phase and kill any of Darktroopers that happen to be nearby. Keep doing this until the Squadleader spawns and focus fire on him - as soon as he dies the Darktroopers stop spawning and the phase ends.

Phase 3: Move forward until you come across a loan Stormtrooper. Kill him and then the 3 waves of Darktroopers to finish the phase.

Phase 4: Move forward and talk to the NPC (he'll be the same one you talked to in Phase 2) to open the walls to the Grenadiers. Pull these 2 at a time (you may have a few Darktroopers in the mix too) - they're pretty easy since they're only silver elites. Before engaging Prat and his 2 droids make sure EVERYONE is in the hall as a wall goes up over the entrance as soon as you engage him. If anyone isn't in the hall at the time, they won't be able to enter until Prat dies.

Phase 5: Move forward and talk to the NPC again to unlock the elevator where you'll encounter Black Sun Boarders. This is a more difficult phase. Have someone pull the Black Sun boarders one by one back to where the rest of the group should be waiting at the elevator. Your Medic(s) will need to keep a close eye on everyones health as it's pretty easy for the BS's target to go from full to half health in just a few hits - they'll also reduce their heals and put some nasty DoT's on too. As long as you can pull one by one and not become overwhelmed, things should go fine.

Phase 6: Go back down the way you came and wait while the NPC guy unlocks the force wall. As soon as it goes down, EVERYONE needs to move beyond it because as soon as you engage the boss behind the wall, the wall will go back up and anyone that wasn't in the hall will need to wait until the boss dies before they can join up with the group again.

Phase 7: The final part! Kill any Stormies you find around and then move forward and kill the boss. He's not too special, a bit like the Tusken King and should be pretty easy to deal with. Loot him and enjoy!

I'll start looking for those that posted around 3pm CST. With luck everyone will be around and we'll play it by ear till we've got a full group and have everyone in it ready to run to the SD. We'll try and figure out how we're getting on board after we've got the group together.

We managed to get the pre-reqs done for those that made it this evening. And even though we only managed to kill, I think, one of the CL 90s with multiple party whipes... it was a fun run.

I think we're all eager to see the rest of the SD now. cool

That was crazy, and fun. I agree, if we only had 1 more medic, 3 less jedi, and 3 more ranged we'd have at least been able to pass the first wave.

I Do have a medic with Ine, and Sol is Jedi, just the Medic is in training right now, so he is not uber perfect at his job smile

I've got a few respecs left on Sai' I believe. A BH atm but her gear isn't exactly top notch. Vreese will probably stay a Jedi from here on out. So, I can go either way but I'm far more familiar with my Forceful ways. cool

Pre-req isn't really all that hard to get finished. Can probably do this entire thing in about 15-20minutes.

As for date I'm still open... Do we want to shoot for Saturday afternoon again or try for a Friday/Sunday date this weekend? (25th-27th) Going by when everyone showed up this last time I think a better start time might be around 5-6pm CST as well.

Since I've only for sure think I'll see about 4 of ya on at the moment we'll say 5-6pm is our Group start up for the evening run. No ETA on when we'll actually start the instance or if we will until I'm sure we've got a full group in game though. I'll leave it up to the group.

More than likely we'll go up anyway if rounding people up presents a problem just so we can see the inside again. It still hasn't lost it's awe factor for us yet I don't think. sly wink
