Update on sound design!Here is a link to an interview done in-house at Flying Lab Software makers of Pirates of the Burning Sea. They discuss one very cool major factor!!!There is no in-house sound design in FLS but theye have outsourced sound design to Richard King who has designed the sounds for alot of major motion pictures such as: War of the Worlds The Exorcist and most importantly to the game Master and Commander Read more here WITH NEW SCREENIES OF SPANISH PORT TOWN!!!! http://www.mmorpg.com/gamelist.cfm?...,20060221105513 Also look at the upcoming features being worked on - including avatars! The avatars in the screenies werent horrible but could use some work - but when I look at the detail in the ships, water and towns and know they havent even started on the people yet? All I can say is WOW (and not the game WoW). Also check out the post on emotes! Amazing what happens when an MMO is being created and designed by actual gamers (and in this case RPers! woot) |

Lots of discussion about it but has not been confirmed or denied yet. Ill let you know if I see anything! But also check out the forums on the site - ALOT of Rp already happening in the RP forum and in fact even non Rpers are getting into it!
But you can do quests to get a pegleg, eyepatch, hookhand and all that yummy pirate stuff AND its all about the epic battles! Grand epic ship vs ship and even pilaging shanty towns! AR!!!!!!!! |
