Where in the real life world do you live? A little podunk towm called Waseca, In southern Minnesota
What type of work do you do? I work a a bussiness called Cybex, that makes Exercise Equipment for Gyms
What other hobbies or activities do you take part in, other then playing MMO’s? Reading, writing, listening to Music, and watching as much TV as I can
How long have you played MMO’s? Since about 2003, so thats.. 5 years, give or take.
What is the main MMO you play? Star Wars Galaxies

How long is your typical gaming session? Anywhere from 2 hours on up, depending on the day and my mood
What does a typical gaming day consist of for you? As of late, it has been logging on my newb chars and grinding them, But usually it depends on what I want to do, and who with, One day i may feel like grinding my bum off, the next I may want to slip into Nocturnus and do some Rping, or cause some trouble
II. Your Main Character
What is your highest character level in your game of choice? CL 90
How did you choose your main character's name? I originally came up with Cryil's name three years prior to SWG, and his background has changed a lot since i first created him.
What race and profession is your main character? He is a Human Master Commando with all his expertise dumped in Beast Mastery
What do you like the most about the profession you have chosen for your main character? The fact that they can deal incredible amounts of Damage, get unique weaponry, and are only one of two professions that can wear Mandalorian armor
What faction is your main character? He is a Rebel
III. Most/Least Favorites in SWG
What is your favorite player-owned ship? Why? The YT-2400. I fell in love with the YT2400 when SOTE came out
What is your favorite ground vehicle? Why? The Barc. It just looks cool, and fast, even when its just parked, its something I could see me owning in real life, if they ever existed
What is your favorite expansion? Why? I would have to say JTL. Star Wars didnt feel like Star Wars until you could climb into your own ship and explore space at your own risk
What is your favorite planet? Why? Probably Talus, it seems to have the best of both Corellia and Naboo
Who is your favorite NPC? Why? Mort, that guy just amuses me, and his ablity to wear a jacket and have a robo arm makes me jealous
Which expansion do you like the least? Why? Rage Of The Wookies, Kashyyk seems too small, too carved up.
Which planet do you like the least? Why? Dantooine, too purple, and too damn crowded
What was your favorite Star Wars movie? Why? Either Revenge Of The Sith, or Return of the Jedi, As both mark the end and begining of the Oringal Trilogy
Who was your favorite character? Why? Han Solo, he was the typical " I look out of me and mine" character, and set a standard that has been followed countless times by other characters
Who was your least favorite character? Why? Jar Jar. Hee seemed like a useless character, and was damn annoying
What are the most credits you have ever spent on purchasing a single item for one of your characters? 70 mil for a mando helm and chestplate schem
Do you have an item you no longer use but keep around for nostalgic reasons? If so, what is it and why do you keep it? I always tend to keep weapons used in other professiosn, like my Lightsaber, just in case i ever get the itch to respec. I also have a hard time throwing away clothing.
Describe your favorite period of Star Wars: Galaxies (Pre-CU, CU, NGE, etc.) and what you liked the most about it. I dont think I have a 'favorite' period. Each upgrade has brought new aspects to the game, as well as new pains
IV. Roleplay and MMO’s
What game brought you to Role Playing (RP)? None. I first started roleplaying with my friends in chat long before i figured moving on to MMO's
Have you played tabletop RP games before moving to MMO’s? If so, which ones? I tried my hand at the Star Wars tabletop game, but could never find dedicated players
What other MMO’s have you played? Played the final fantasy MMO for about a week, played WoW on and off, tried my hand at both Vanguard, and Beta versioned LoTRO and didnt care for either
What do you get out of playing your MMO of choice? A chance to play my own part in the Star Wars universe, plus a chance to interact with a great group of people
How did you get into Roleplaying? My friend taught me how to roleplay, and the chance to act as a character I created was too interesting to pass up
How would you “sell” roleplaying to someone that has never tried it before? What are the benefits? I dont think I could sell roleplaying. Its something people have to try themselves to see if they like it.
What was your favorite event or story arc? Cant say that I have one, each new arc or event brings with it something new, something yet untried
How long have you been an RP’er? On and off since around 2000
What do you like best about RP’ing? Its an escape, I know I can come home, log in, and forget about work for alittle while
What type of RP ‘role’ do you prefer portraying with your character? He is just who he is, this game contains too many bad asses, to many heroes, Cryil just tries to get thru the day alive, if he ends up being a good guy for doing so, then so be it
What kind of RP story arc would you most like to be a part of? I'd like to see more Rebel styled arcs the imperials seem to get free run of Nocturnus until someone complains, but I have yet to see any rebels attempt anything
What would you like to see more of when doing RP? Im not sure, but open for anything really
Which other community member do you like to RP with the most? Why? Nyvveck, He can play his role well enough to even irk me, that takes a lot of talent and dedication
Do you have any ideas for future RP story arcs that you would share? Nothing concrete beyond wanting to get more rebel RP going
Describe your best RP experience from playing Star Wars: Galaxies. There are too many to single out just one, though I do miss the interaction with the old MERCS crew and Novall, and the old TTF crew and Alonzo
If you could give a new player one bit of advice based on your game experiences, what would it be? Dont be uber. The game is much more fun when your not vaders personal thug, or some uber rebel ready to kill every imp on site. Besides, rping like that will get you ignored faster then anything.
