What type of work do you do? I crunch numbers in an Accounts Payable department for a home builder.
What other hobbies or activities do you take part in, other then playing MMO’s? Tai Chi, reading, watching movies, traveling.
How long have you played MMO’s? About 3 years.
What is the main MMO you play? SWG/WOW

How long is your typical gaming session? 3-5 hours.
What does a typical gaming day consist of for you? Keeping my clothing vendors fully stocked, RPing, and dancing at the Angel.
II. Your Main Character
What is your highest character level in your game of choice? CL 90
How did you choose your main character's name? My husband has called me Deedle since we first met and my middle name is Ann. I just added the apostrophe to make it more Twi'lek.
What race and profession is your main character? Twi'lek Dancer
What do you like the most about the profession you have chosen for your main character? I love making people happy and giving others attention, so Dancer was a natural choice for me. Dancing also relaxes me after a long day at work. Dee has been around almost since launch and was a Tailor/Pistoleer in the beginning.
What faction is your main character? Covert Rebel
III. Most/Least Favorites in SWG
What is your favorite player-owned ship? Why? Although almost all my characters are pilots, I have not spent too much time in space. I guess the Heavy X-Wing would be my favorite thus far because it has been the easiest for me to fly.
What is your favorite ground vehicle? Why? I love my Barq. Martia just looks cool riding around on it in RIS armor.
What is your favorite expansion? Why? ROTW. I think it has some of the most interesting storylines and loot.
What is your favorite planet? Why? Endor. *smiles* I love the landscape.
Who is your favorite NPC? Why? Necrosis. I have a lot of fond memories of joining friends to hunt him down.
Which expansion do you like the least? Why? JTL. Only because I have not taken the time to really experience space combat and travel.
Which planet do you like the least? Why? Dathomir. Flashbacks of driving out to the village and getting hung up on trees and rocks while being pummeled by various creatures who wanted me dead. *shudder*
What was your favorite Star Wars movie? Why? It is so hard for me to choose. I enjoy all of them for different reasons. I would have to Star Wars Episode IV only because it introduced me to the sci-fi genre as a whole.
Who was your favorite character? Why? Han Solo. I just love his rugged nature and his sarcastic attitude. And I have to add the Kaminoans. When she greets Obi-Wan she says...."We were beginning to think you weren't coming." I always laugh when I hear it because it reminds me of sitting in the DMV (department of motor vehicles) and hearing the female intercom voice saying "Now serving number twenty-nine." Trust me, the voice is identical. *giggle*
Who was your least favorite character? Why? I would have to say the older Anakin. I just found him much too whiney.
What are the most credits you have ever spent on purchasing a single item for one of your characters? I try not to spend over 3 million on anything. I have splurged on a couple of rare paintings.
Do you have an item you no longer use but keep around for nostalgic reasons? If so, what is it and why do you keep it? I have an armoire full of old BE tissue and cloth. I spent a horrific amount of money on it before it became obsolete. I guess I'm still hoping they convert the tissues.
Describe your favorite period of Star Wars: Galaxies (Pre-CU, CU, NGE, etc.) and what you liked the most about it. Every era of SWG had its good and bad points. I do really miss the combat in Pre-CU times. I am still having a difficult time adjusting to the fast paced combat in the NGE. I remember spending countless hours in the medical center healing the tumblers while making new friends. Good times.....
IV. Roleplay and MMO’s
What game brought you to Role Playing (RP)? SWG
Have you played tabletop RP games before moving to MMO’s? If so, which ones? Do Garbage Pail kids count?
What other MMO’s have you played? WOW
What do you get out of playing your MMO of choice? I come from the old AOL days where you paid by the hour. Roleplaying existed in member chat rooms. MMOs are just AOL on crack. It is the same concept, you just have a physical form that aids in conveying your personae. I always enjoyed meeting new people in AOL, but also understood that most of them were not who they pretended to be. MMOs allow you to be someone else and communicate with others that are doing the same. Just call it adult pretend time. 
How did you get into Roleplaying? I always had a passion for roleplaying but never the community. I was blessed to join the Kreetles who introduced me to Nocturnus and a whole new world.
How would you “sell” roleplaying to someone that has never tried it before? What are the benefits? I think the best way to sell RP is to just do it!
What was your favorite event or story arc? I do not normally get involved with large scale story arcs. For me they are much too scripted. Some of most memorable times stemmed from dancing in the Angel.
How long have you been an RP’er? Although I have dabbled in RP for over three years, I would say officially only a year.
What do you like best about RP’ing? I never know what to expect! We have some great RPers in our community that always keep you on your toes.
What type of RP ‘role’ do you prefer portraying with your character? There are very few people that truly know Dee. She portrays that she is only a dancer. Her true personae has not really surfaced in game much because there has not really been much of an opportunity. I share a different side of Dee in the holonet writing.
What kind of RP story arc would you most like to be a part of? See above, I prefer free-form RP but will gladly help anyone else if they need someone to play a role. All you need do is ask!
What would you like to see more of when doing RP? At this point I am just happy to see people RPing!
Which other community member do you like to RP with the most? Why? I am very focused on Amunet's role in the Academy right now. It is a very unique guild in terms of its structure and theology. I am blessed to be a part of it and I look forward to helping our members grow in both their RP and character development. Griven, Xyryn, Rinna, Nurian, Iafeu, Nisoa, Seriously, Nyvveck, An'Drew, Cryil, the MERCs, among many others always kept things interesting for me. Thank you all for helping me learn how to RP.
Do you have any ideas for future RP story arcs that you would share? I am working on some smaller missions for the Academy, but I hope to expand this into the larger community as a whole. I am also laying the foundation for the Nocturnus Home Show which will debut sometime in Late June (due to the purge).
If you could give a new player one bit of advice based on your game experiences, what would it be? Decide who you want to be first. Then do your research and find a guild that best matches your gaming style. It is OK not to be in a guild. Always remember that your actions affect others. Be patient, kind, and mature. And as a wise Bothan once told me, if you are not having fun anymore...do not do it. I have taken that advice to heart more than once and made some difficult decisions along the way. And lastly, remember that this is only a game and real life always takes precedence....you can escape into this world, but you have to live in the other. Cheers!
