Hi guys, I need some feedback on this --> [Survey] How many of you RP'ed teaching a language?. I'm going to link it to a discussion in the Influencers forum.

The goal is to re-introduce languages back into the game. Any comments would help immensely.

Out of all the times I gave languages to someone, I only RP'd teaching one once. It was fun and sometimes hilarious. However, most newbies want them all and want them NOW.

If there's a system involved in learning languages, people will go through it, because they want the languages. I don't see much RP coming from it, unless it's designed to promote RP, and, even then, it will be a rare occurrence, I would bet.

I've never RPed teaching a language or learning one, but I've done a little RP about it, after the fact, once.

Think I replied with what I could in that thread, Lona.

Versatti had a pretty good idea to add to it I thought by encouraging time away from the game. While unrelated to languages we might have Jaskell talked into researching something similar for logging out in a hotel for an xp boost like we see in WoW.
