What is a Cantina Crawl?
A Cantina Crawl is a cross-server Entertainer event (i.e. folks from any server are cordially invited). We start the party in a particular cantina at a particular time -- though we won't stay in one place but travel ("crawl", take it as literally as you want) to different locations all over the planet. Although traditionally most people who attend are entertainers, everyone is very welcome to join us and have a good time. We only ask that you come On Leave, leave your weapons unequipped, respect other people's wishes to have a good time without fighting, and have a great time yourself while doing so

Even if you are not an Entertainer, you can dance Basic or play Starwars 1 on a Slitherhorn, so join us and let us show you how to have fun without killing anything.

Everyone is welcome to attend.

Color scheme: white (43) and lightblue (158)

Chat channel: Chat.cc will be the channel for this event.
To join just type /chatroom join gorath.chat.cc order right-click on a Chat-Tab and than click on "join Channel". Under Gorath -> Chats, you'll find the CC Chat to join. Please be sure to always keep an eye on the channel. Best thing is to add it to you main-chat window via right-click onto the Chat-Tab again and "modify tab". There you can highlight the CC Channel und add it to your chat list.

Organisation: Kh'arta & Elv
Helper: Rinna' and Elv are in charge of helping new Characters and the cross-server Entertainers and give out credits and bikes to the crawl-entertainers.

Tailor: Crawl Clothes are available by:
  • Astra (Vendor @Tatooine, 895 5337, Boonta Eve)
  • Elau (Vendor @Lok, 4881 -602, Suywo Plains)
  • Invictus' (just tell or mail him)
  • Rinna' (Vendor @Tatoine, waypoint coming soon)
  • or ask the tailor you have faith hin for the colors white (43) and lightblue (158) (link to color palette)

Armorparts: Farla (Vendor @Dantooine, 1532 -5924, near Agro Outpost)

Preparations:
Especially the cross-server entertainers should keep in mind to create their chars in time to skill the needed entertainer-skills and get everything needed for the event. And don't forget to join the crawl-channel.  wink

One last thing:
Please do not use Holograms during the Event. There will be enough Entertainers participating, that there will be no need for them!

This will be a good opportunity to get oriented, meet other crawlers and get a little extra xp if you're grinding for the crawl. Some of the tailors will have vendors up in the Angel for your convenience. I'll be handing out travel credits to our cross-server visitors and making sure everyone has the waypoint for the crawl's starting location. I know you all will take screens, but I need a few without anything on them if possible...take off the HUD.  Anyone there can take them, and forward them to me, or send me the links to them if you put them on the web.  Please take them from both the party and the event, but let me know which is which.  I should be able to make the event at least for a short time, and will try to grab a few screens myself.  Not sure I will make the party today though.

laughing Oops, walked into that one.  But would not work with what I have in mind.

FYI:  Our CC Clothes vendor has been moved from Black Sands to the Desert Angel for the Welcome Party.

We plan to place it back in Black Sands later tonight after the party, so anyone looking for it via the posted waypoint will be able to find it tonight/tomorrow.

(I did leave a place holder vendor in the tent pointing them to the Desert Angel for the Party.)

I had fun!  I particularly liked the fog...being lost in that eerie landscape was surreal, and reminded me of the Darkover novels.

I met new interesting people, reconnected with some acquaintances from the German community, and had room to do some of the "ranged" dances at the last stop.

I also got to hear a few songs that I'd never heard before.  I think we should consider a song fest.
