Chance of a lifetime?I have recently been introduced to the idea of studying abroad in England for the fall semester. The cost is not....terrible...But rather high. Would be about 3 months over there. So far everyone but Nyvveck has told me to do it and that this is the time right now...Any thoughs?

Fed, this sounds like a great opportunity. I think you will regret it later if you don't do this now. As long as you can afford it, I say go for it.

If you have even an inkling that this is something you might wish you'd done later on. Then go. A lot of opportunities only come once in a Lifetime. A trip abroad will likely be something you can remember from then on.

Any chance you get to go somewhere you should take. You can always make more money, but you can never make more time.

Not sure which part you are going to, but I would say go. I have been over seas and done the travel thing but did not stay for an extended period of time. There is a lot you can learn there, and a lot of places worth seeing. This type of opprotunity does not come along often and some people never get this type of chance. I would say go if you can afford it and have any kind of second thoughts.
We all know 9/11 changed our lives and the war against terrorism is still going on. I've not been to Europe since then and that would be my only thought. So you would have to look at the area you are going. Only negative thing I can think of for you to consider.

Even if it is expensive, go anyway if you can. Yeah you might get to go there one day for a business trip depending on what profession you get into, but going for business isn't anywhere near the same as going for three months to study..../party....definitely not an opportunity you should pass up unless you absolutely have to.

I would say definately go. Some of the best parts of being Military has been travelling around seeing different places. I was shocked when I went back home and saw how many of my friends from school had still never even been out of the state.
Get out, expand your horizons, and have fun with it. No matter what else happens you'll always be able to tell your friends about that time you went to England.

Do it, I lived in London for a while for school (theatre) and I loved it. I missed people back home but made tons of new friends and had an amazing time. London was actually some of the best times of my entire life.
