Achernar is on the same server I am (and in the same society too). I don't know which server Sti-Fi plays on, I don't think she's told anyone. As for others, other people in my society played SWG but I'm not sure on which server.
As far as the client download, I'm not sure if anything has been simplified or not. I never had a problem downloading it in beta, but than again that was pretty early beta so I may have gotten it before the problems started. Seeing as how she works for Flying Lab Software, I'm thinking it would be a bad idea to broadcast the name of the server on which she plays. It'd be like Bilxtev or Valara or someone similar announcing which SWG server they call home.
