Attack on AnchorheadSo, im workin on this roleplay thing. I was gonna have it to where my city on naboo was gonna be attacked, but i thought id make it more interesting and fun.
Us rebels and imperials have been deprived of some real head to head roleplay based battles in months, and since cymrych is back this seems to me the perfect time to kick this off.
I dont know if anyone else remembers the old days when anchorhead was a pvp city, but i was figuring we could plan an imperial attack on the city. The story going with what im doing is titled "imperial entanglements" in the galactic holonet thread. Its nowhere near to this stage where the attack takes place, but what do yall think? I am hoping we can finally get some Rebel vs Imperial roleplay action.
Think this could work?
any suggestions?

I doubt we could get anything to happen, Most of the Imperial RPers have either moved on to greener pastures, or simply dont play anymore

Not to throw a damper on it too but Cryil isn't too far off. To tell the truth I think the Imperials of community past to present would've loved to see something like this work. But, to be honest, most of the Rebels around here, myself included, never really liked PvP to begin with.
However, if this is what interests you it should be pursued. I'd talk with Nareese from Iron and perhaps some guild heads from MDH or even Mafia. There are a few largish guilds that'd probably like the idea and run with it even if it meant using alts to level out Imps/Rebs for this.
I think you'd be looking at more of a PvP event than a RPvP event this way... but at least you could see something happen with it. Throwing up a nibble thread on the Gorath boards couldn't hurt either.

of course, and even though it wont be RPVP we would still have to create a few rules. Either a time limit or something that would allow us to know when somebody has actually "won" the fight.

I remember back in the day, it was a wednesday if I remember correctly, there was a huge tusken raid on Mos Eisley. This was after the event where Colonel Tramel Raggs led an assault on Mos Eisley to capture some rebel sympathizers in the cantina there. There were only a handful of us in that raid but we faired well against the ragtag group of rebel defenders. Probably because we had an organized strategy whereas the rebs just started running around in circles shooting.
You could possibly do a melding of the two ideas and have an imperial group lead the charge of Imperial NPC storm troopers on an assault of Anchorhead. I don't know if there are still event coordinators out there willing to set this stuff up for you or not.
