Hello!
Names Lisa, but most often or not I play a repeating RP character of mine named Lillie. uhm.
Well my boyfriend and I seem to be fading away from interest with our current MMO and decided to download the trail SWG. I love it and surprisingly so does he. We -May- be interested in picking it up and joining you all, but I needed to see what the RP community is like. So far it looks great. I'm interested in joining a guild right off that bat...cause I get bored if there isn't rp.
Uhm we have A LOT of gaming experience and A LOT of RP Experience....but not a lot of SWG experience unfortunately. frown

Looking for some help with the general game play, but we pick up quickly. Need to know if there is a specific class or profession thats missing in the RP community.
Looking for anyone recruiting, and what server to join. Iv been playing for about three days and I have capped the amount of levels you can get on about seven different servers.

First of all - Hello. Glad to see you are enjoying the game.

We play on the Gorath server, for the most part. As well, I think a lot of us will agree that it is fairly boring without a lot of RP going on.

Speaking personally, I can always seem to find RP if I am looking for it, and I almost always am looking for it.

Guildwise, it might be good to talk about what type of guild you would be interested in. RP, yes, however there are different kinds of RP. VSD, for example, is a guild of Imperials, while Templ is a guild of citizens who worship The Goddess, a Twi'lek deity (and I hope I'm correct on that - I believe it is Twi'lek. If not, I'm sure someone will come correct me).

Well for one I'm not sure what character I want to play. Did an attempt at SW table top for a bit and me and my boyfriend seemed to like the idea of the characters back up.
A Jedi and a Smuggler.
Rebel friendly, if not all rebel type guild. Something both characters can blend into well with out getting lost.

Hello. And Nyvveck is correct, the Goddess started out as a Twi'lek deity...but has expanded somewhat.

And, as with Nyvveck, it is a rare night when I cannot find roleplay. However, I should point out that it does take awhile to establish your characters in any community...and until your characters are established, you will find roleplay a little difficult to drop in on, immediately.

Also, many of us have two or more toons, of very different character types...so that if there is nothing going on for one toon, we can switch to the other toon.

If you're looking for Rebellion-sympathetic guilds, talk to An'drew Ryker, Rinna, or Cylestya.

Like was said in the last posts, if you're looking for RP, you will most likely find it. However, there are times when it may just be a slow night. In those cases, don't get discouraged! It's not always a steady stream of activity, just usually.

Make sure that you join the Nocturnus chat channel, which is where you will find most of us. It's very handy for meeting other community members and finding something to do. Here are the instructions on how to do so.

As far as what professions the community is missing, that's a non-issue. The profession that you choose to play doesn't matter--it's how you play.

If you're not sure what kind of character you want to play right now, don't worry about it. Just pick a profession, and play it by ear. You've already got the framework of someone who is a Rebel-sympathizer, so at least you've got a starting point. Let your interactions with others determine who your character is. Before long, you'll have a mature character.

Also, be aware that there are many nuances in this community that you may have to adjust to. Every community that's been around for a significant period of time has its own set of guidelines and rules (unfortunately ours are having their wording revised in a private form at the moment).

Above all, have fun! It's your $15 (or it will be if you stay after your trial expires).

My Name is Cylestya. I am one of the Rebel leaders here in the community. I am the leader of Nova Recon Corps (NRC). NRC is located in Ft. Nova next to Nocturnus. We are becoming more and more active (not covert) Rebels around here as we grow in numbers.

What a warm welcome!
I am so pleased to find this. *Gets all fuzzy inside*
We decided to go ahead ride this trial out, we will begin to play this game and slowly leave WoW behind. It will be hard as I have 5 capped characters and he has 4, and we have many friends there. But, we see a new chances to explore and make new friends here! So you won us over and we cant wait to meet you in game!

I choose to be an officer, I tried almost all of the other classes and I enjoyed that one the most- thus far. Hehe.
