2 possibilities I'm totally loving about this... well... maybe three.

1) Influencing the game world.
2) Holodeck.
3) Command.

I think I totally get what the Exec is saying though. We'll have the WoWish/every other mmorpg part of the game... and most likely an unexplored Dev monitored changing environment with random quest giving npcs that aren't always there. Where we can 'leave an impact' on our servers.

Just imagine being the player responsible for blowing up a solar system too...

"Hey, isn't your ship? Weren't you the ones that?"

The Holodeck will be a trip... nuff said. But it does look like it'll be a post-launch polish and/or addition.

I like the command from the sound of it. And a near Galaxy-class sized ship suits me just fine. I do hope they leave the rank decay over time thing out on this one though.

Sorry, Jean Luc, your an ensign. You haven't been killing enough mutant klingons this week... just wouldn't make sense. laughing
