Background:Stebak Freelight a descendant of his grandfather Korbay a jedi knight Sentinel that died during the clone wars has been raised by his adopted parents loran and derius freelight on correlia , Because of his mom died giving to birth and never knowing his true father stebak was given up for adoption , Fortunately Loran and Derius Freelight a wife and a husband never able to conceive birth wanted a child so badly they took adopting especially more since he was force sensitive.

At the age of 18 Stebak helped his father derius run a vehicle repair store while learning how to pilot a shuttle until the age of twenty five , When old enough derius told his son stebak he should join the rebellion for the rebellion could use really starfighter pilots , Interested in Joining the rebel cause to overthrow the empire stebak told his father he would consider it but before stebak decided to book a shuttle to tattoine and find a rebel recruiter his parents wanted to discuss something with him , Something that was important for him to know .

They told stebak he was adopted , His mother died giving birth to him , Stebak seemed quite shocked , His parents did not know for the father , The only clue of his mother's history was in secret documents the rebellion had was her name was maliri lightrunner a daughter of a jedi sentinel korbay lightrunner , Stebak asked if he was force sensitive his parents told him he was that was why he was adopted because by being adopted the empire would never knew his last name nor his jedi heritage .

Glad he waited on pursueing a career with the rebellion stebak had second thoughts about becoming a starfighter pilot not doubting his combat skills , Or joining the rebellion it was the empire he was worried about now he knew why his parents adopted him , It was because of order 66 his grand father was killed in the clone wars , Sure his true name was Stebak Lightrunner but only because he was adopted did his last name changed to freelight hence thus the empire would not know his true last name nor of them being able to link him to his grandfather Korbay

Wanting to help the rebel cause Stebak spoked to his parents and while their were both supportive of the rebellion they both felt it was better for stebak to find a jedi master and train in the ways of the force until he was fully trained then he could join the rebellion , Understanding what his parents felt was best stebak decided to hold off on joining the rebellion until he was ready .

Before leaveing home though his parents had large silver case for him that was given to them after he was adopted , Rebel operatives said it was found in his mother's home after she past away , Going through the contents in the silver case stebak found what he believed to be his grandfather korbay's lightsaber along with his jedi robes a book containing how to construct a lightsaber and tales of his travels as a jedi knight and lastly a golden lion medallion necklace .

Smileing while he went through the rest of the contents ponac packed most of his belongings in the silvercase along with his grandfather's contents wished his parents well and promised to keep in touch with them and as a gift his father derius gave him the shuttle that stebak was working on in his spared time , Saying goodbye stebak left on his shuttle and left for tattoine
