What other hobbies or activities do you take part in, other then playing MMO’s?

I play piano and handbells. We have a pool and I spend time swimming. I also love to dance.

How long have you played MMO’s? Five years

What is the main MMO you play? SWG

How long is your typical gaming session? Most evenings 3 - 4 hours

What does a typical gaming day consist of for you? A typical gaming day for me is never the same.

II. Your Main Character

What is your highest character level in your game of choice? Level 90

How did you choose your main character's name? I’ve always liked the name Safia and Strom just seemed to go with it.

What race and profession is your main character? Safia is human and an elder Jedi

What do you like the most about the profession you have chosen for your main character?

I like using the Lightsaber

What faction is your main character? Rebel

III. Most/Least Favorites in SWG

What is your favorite player-owned ship? Why? My Sorosuub Luxury Yacht. It is great for rp events

What is your favorite ground vehicle? Why? My Flash Speeder. It is a rare vehicle and is no longer available ingame.

What is your favorite expansion? Why? ToOW Mostly because I have enjoyed the setup of the quests and storylines. I also enjoy collecting the glowies.

What is your favorite planet? Why? Tatooine. It is where Safia began.

Who is your favorite NPC? Why? Lady Valarian. She called Safia her Ferocious Rancor.

Which expansion did you like the least? Why? I liked them all.

Which planet do you like the least? Why? I have none. They are all unique in their own way.

What was your favorite Star Wars movie? Why? “A New Hope” It was the first to introduce the Star Wars Universe

Who was your favorite character? Why? Darth Vader. He represented the Darkside well.

Who was your least favorite character? Why? Jar Jar Binks. Do I really need to say why?

What are the most credits you have ever spent on purchasing a single item for one of your characters? 15mil

Do you have an item you no longer use but keep around for nostalgic reasons? If so, what is it and why do you keep it? Yes, I have a Vir Vur Mazi Waren made me and it is sitting in Saf’s home. He was a dear friend and part of the first city and guild Safia belonged to. His death was a big shock to us all and we have a memorial to him in the square of Mos Mazi.

Describe your favorite period of Star Wars: Galaxies (Pre-CU, CU, NGE, etc.) and what you liked the most about it. CU It was a time when we helped each other. Groups were fun. XP was great. PvP was not over in seconds. I really loved being able mix and match different professions. I am enjoying the NGE also because of the friendships that have been made. If not for them I probably would not still be playing.

IV. Roleplay and MMO’s

What game brought you to Role Playing (RP)? TSO

Have you played tabletop RP games before moving to MMO’s? If so, which ones? No

What other MMO’s have you played? TSO, EQ2, and WOW

What do you get out of playing your MMO of choice? Enjoyment

How did you get into Roleplaying? I did a little in TSO. When I came to SWG I met a person that did a lot or rping and he got me started there.

How would you “sell” roleplaying to someone that has never tried it before? What are the benefits? I think rp sells itself. You either like it or you don’t.

What was your favorite event or story arc? My favorite is the one I’m involved in now.

How long have you been an RP’er? Five years

What do you like best about RP’ing? Interacting with others.

What type of RP ‘role’ do you prefer portraying with your character? Safia is usually in the background. She is quiet and shy.

What kind of RP story arc would you most like to be a part of? Any, but mostly I love impromptu rping.

What would you like to see more of when doing RP? More involvement with others.

Which other community member do you like to RP with the most? Why? This is a difficult question. There are so many community members here I have enjoyed rping with but at the present time I would have to say Vanz. He cares about others more than himself and will make it so those around him have fun.

Do you have any ideas for future RP story arcs that you would share? Vanz and I are working on one now. We hope to get as many involved as possible.

Describe your best RP experience from playing Star Wars: Galaxies? There are too many to single one out.

If you could give a new player one bit of advice based on your game experiences, what would it be? Be kind, make friends, and have fun. Remember, this is not just a game.
