Serek started as an Imperial Colonel. He was taken to "The Warren", and there spent his next 5 years in captivity, until he was finally freed by Rebel forces during a raid. They had taken him there because he was slightly force sensitive. They wished to clone him and manipulate the DNA in order to create a stronger, and expendable force user to draw out any remnants of the Jedi. After several tried, the Empire was sucessful in creating and training a powerful Dark Jedi named Keres.

Serek eventually joined the Rebel cause. He was in the city of Nocturnous and found high hostilities due to an organization led by a Dosh named Shensen DeBloodLetter. Serek chose to take the fight to Shensen and his organization. The two started a fierce rivalry, as their first meeting of blades ended in Shensen's defeat. Shensen would have his revenge, almost killing Serek while he attempted to free a prisoner that Shensen had held for several weeks.

After the rescue of this prisoner, Serek had been greviously wounded and returned after a short rest, to his home on Naboo. There waiting for him was Keres, the Dark Jedi created when the Empire had cloned Serek during his captivity. The two started a fearsome battle, and it seemed Serek would meet his end. Serek in fact was able to kill his evil clone with the help of an old man with some strange ties to the Jedi. In the Dark Jedi's last moments, he passed his power and his evil to Serek, hoping to corrupt him to the path of evil.

Serek and Keres's personalities merged between light and darkness. Serek kept his strong sense of honor and his desire to help others, but also gained Keres's arrogance and desire to incresase his own power. Serek had gained his clones power and memories, leading him to the decision to attone for the misdeeds of his counterpart. Giving up his armor and blasters, Serek took his clones lightsaber and chose to live a simpler life. Travelling from place to place helping those he could, and taking the opportunities to test his strength against strong and honorable opponents.

Serek learned shortly after that his rival Shensen DeBloodLetter's life had ended by his own blade. Serek knew Shensen had been fighting demons within himself. He had chosen to take his own life to save others. Serek saw great honor in that, and mourned the loss of his greatest adversary.

As always, the time to mourn was short as a new threat rised. Regardless the threat or the source, there is a wanderer, a Jedi swordsman who will always be there to meet it head on.

After the death of Shensen, the Kiva known as Xyryn recieved a strange message. It had been written before Shensen's death, and gave clues that he might be alive, or able to be revived. Serek agreed to help the Kiva follow the clue of that message. That clue led to another, and it soon became apparent that the had been put on a scavenger hunt. The Kiva believed that the prize was the very soul of Shensen. Xyryn and Serek travelled the galaxy unravelling the mystery. Eventually Xyryn was able to restore life to Shensen, and she was given the choice of his path. She had the power to set him towards good or evil, and chose instead to bring him balance and let him choose his own destiny.

Shensen's rebirth and new willingness to help those in need marked the beginning of a new threat. A threat refered to as Replicants. Beings created to take the place of a person, and serve a "Hive Mind" bent on total domination. Still no scientific means had been discovered to detect these creatures. Accusations spread, and soon fear and mistrust consumed the citizens of Nocturnus. Serek was limited to what he could do, since there was no known enemy to fight. He found his former enemy and rival Shensen, was now his greatest and most trusted ally.

Together with the Kiva, the three fought against the Replicant threat with sucess. As time passed, more people were replicated and the situation only became worse. Serek and Shensen were publicly branded as Replicants by the High Inquisitor Nyvveck, who Serek believes may be a replicant himself. Serek also believed that two of the Jedi Orders greatest members had been replicated. They also placed bounties on Serek and Shensen. It seemed they had made more of an impact then they believed. They were now being hunted by several organizations.

Serek has found that there is little room left for discretion. They are now fighting for survival. Theirs and perhaps the entire galaxies. Realizing the concequences to his actions, Serek has decided he has no choice but to take whatever action he sees necessary to stop this threat.

Bonds will be broken, Battles will be fought, and the innocent will die along with the guilty...such is the way of War.

Despite the troubles and horrors of conflict, Serek often finds his only sense of peace when he looks back at the lives he's saved. They are his cause, they are his justification and his purpose. His resolve to that purpose allows him to sacrifice any lives, including his own to protect the helpless. Finally, after a lifetime of pain and conflict, something good finally happened to him.

In the ultimate display of the balance of the universe, among the mistrust and the deaths, a new and unfamiliar love was brought into Serek's life. A young woman named Sofia Storm has found her way into Serek's heart. Sofia was the sister of Jedi Master Safia Storm, and former pupil of Shensen DeBloodLetter. Sofia had been driven to the dark side during Shensen's reign as a Dark Jedi Master. Later, Serek and the revived Shensen sought to save her from that dark destiny.

That was Serek and Shensen's first time truly working together, and they were able to save another life. Serek immediatley felt a strong connection to Sofia. She was a beautiful woman, but she carried the same dark rage that was buried inside of Serek. They had also suffered the same horrors in their lives, both victims of captivity and torture. They each found comfort in knowing the other could understand their feelings.

Sofia was invited to stay at Serek's Estate on the beaches of Naboo. He hoped she would be able to find some peace there, and more selfishly, wanted her close to him. He found her intoxicating and found it hard to hide his feelings.

Serek planned a day for the two to leave the troubles of the world behind. He took Sofia out to pick up some new clothes, since she owned very little of her own. They both then went to the Falls in Deja Peak. They stood on the bridge watching the water cascade down off the rocks. Sofia closed her eyes as the mist hit her face, and she seemed at peace. It was there that his feelings for her were truly revealed, as they shared their first kiss along the backdrop of water. Climbing to the lake at the top of the peaks, Serek dove in the water. Sofia stood on the banks, looking almost afraid to enjoy herself. Serek swam to shore grabbing Sofia and throwing her in the water. When she surfaced it was with a smile and laughter. Serek smiled seeing her laugh and enjoy her life, free from the pain she felt, even if only for a moment.

Serek believes that Sofia is the only one who could ever truly understand him. She has become his light when the world is in Darkness, his peace among chaos.

Serek has come to realize that the night he saved her life...she saved his too.

Even though Shensen had been reborn, it seemed his legacy could not be so easily stopped. Among the threat of the replicants a older evil was revealed, and it seemed perhaps the darkness had risen again. A cunning and powerful Jedi known only as Vanz had taken an intrest in Sofia's redemption. Serek believed this Jedi's goal was to pull Sofia back into the fold, and lure her to the darkside once again.

Serek only encountered Vanz a few times, but the last of which had a lasting effect. Unlike most Jedi who wage war with lightsabers, Vanz's war was a mental one. He had met Sofia and Serek at Nym's cantina, and begun his mental assault. For Sofia, it seemed he tried to confuse her, to make her doubt her decision. As for Serek, his feelings for Sofia were the perfect way to incite his rage, taking him closer to the dark path as well. Vanz with the help of a Rodian wonam named Chi'anna, worked thier manipulations on the two. In the end they were unsucessful. Despite what Serek told himself, he realized that Vanz had in fact left his mark.

That night forced Serek to realize that his feelings for Sofia would allow him to be easily manipulated. He would do anything to protect her, and that could be used to draw him to the darkside. The Jedi of old believed that love was a dangerous emotion for a Jedi. Serek never understood why, but now the wisdom behind the old teachings was apparent. Serek found himself facing a choice. Either he would have to give up his power, or give up his love. By forcing Serek to make this choice, Vanz had won a victory.

Serek decided to give up the power of the force. It was in fact, never truly his. Keres had given him that power in hopes that his power would corrupt Serek. Serek believed that he could stop that from happening, but without the discipline on the Jedi teachings, he saw his fate leading to a dark place. In the end, it was Sofia who had meant more to him. She had become his new power, and it was a power he knew he could never relinquish.

Serek's evil counterpart Keres, had been taught a technique to cut himself off from the force completely. While Keres had used it to remain undetected for many years, Serek would use it to free himself of the lure of the darkside. He would be free to feel, without fear of his emotions. Outside his home, on the beaches of Naboo with Sofia, Serek severed his connection to the force. As he lay in the sand he could feel the void inside himself. Then he felt Sofia's hands help him back to his feet, and as he looked into her eyes, he knew he had made the right choice.

After the destruction of the city of Restuss, the covert war between the Empire and the Rebellion became very public, and very real. Serek was sent to the frontlines repeatedly. Despite the fact that it was destroying his relationship with Sofia', Serek continued to volunteer for the most dangerous assignments. Eventually, his lifestyle led to a decision by both to go thier seperate ways, and part as friends.

After the Battles, Serek returned to Nocturnus. Imperial presence had increased dramatically, and tensions were high. Serek recieved word that an Imperial defector was coming to the rebellion to share what he knew. This defector was given the codename: Orphan. However, a careless mistake on Serek's part led to his capture and interrogation, by a woman named Esharra.

During the Interrogation, Esharra sensed two personalities within Serek. The drugs they had given him weakened his mind, allowing the evil clone Keres's mind to come to the surface. He was able to convince Esharra that he would be an asset to the Empire, if she would use her talents with the force to overthrow Serek's personality, and replace it with his own. Esharra hesitantly agreed. The combination of Serek's weakened state due to the drugs, and Esharra's power it seemed Serek's personality was all but destroyed.

Now the mind responsible for the horror of the Moenia Massacre is free again, with a new body. Though cut off from the force, "Serek" is more then willing to use they're combined military knowlege to wreak havok on the Rebellion that Serek had loved so much.
