INTRODUCTION:
These are the rules for the Nocturnus Story arc. The overall goal of these rules is to provide a solid foundation so everyone can enjoy themselves. Common sense and consideration of another persons enjoyment should not be set aside and different circumstances will require different interpretation of these rules.
RP COMBAT ETIQUETTE & THINGS TO CONSIDER:
* Be courteous to the other participants.
* Leave the smack talk in Restuss.
* The RP situation can determine what you fight with.
* Don't jump to a conclusion, send a tell and ask.
GUILDS:
The following guilds are involved. Please note, some of the Guilds involved may have changed.

GUILD WAR AND DUELING:
If you would like to join a temproary guild, Zyre has offered to create a "placeholder" guild for anyone that is currently not guilded but wants to get involved in the immersion war for the duration of the story arc. Contact him for details.
If you still would like to use the dueling method, issue a /duel command to the other parties involved prior to engaging in RP.
NOTE: Use /duel prior to RP, Not just prior to combat.
NOTE: If you choose the duel method;
* DO EXPECT some people to not respond to your /duel requests.
* DON'T automatically assume that the reason why is malicious. You've just started down the road that lead us to the conclusion of using Guild Wars.
COMBAT:
When to Attack and not to attack - No load kills. Allow the person to move off the shuttlepad before attacking or move a few meters away from the loading area in a starport. Nyms Starport is also a non-attack area since it is the only way to get on Lok. The city proper of Nym's Starport is open for combat.
"Red is Dead" - You MUST have a ligitimate RP reason to attack on sight. What is a ligitimate RP reason? A ligitimate RP reason is PRIOR interaction with the person or group or something established in the Star Wars setting that would put you at odds.
Kill on Sight (KOS) - Applies in Nocturnus at agreed upon RP events. If parties involved leave those areas Common Sense should dictate how to handle matters,
Supprise Attacks: - The guild war is considered always on. You can be attacked by suprise. In fact, you can count on being attacked by suprise.
DEATH AND INCAPACITATION:
Death Blow (DB) and Death by double Incap'ed - You may be DB'ed or double Incap'ed. If you are, you are out of the fight. Consider yourself seriously wounded. If someone rez's you (friend or foe), If you clone and come back, Go prone, do not fight, you are still considered seriously wounded.
Incapacitated (Incap'ed) - If you are incapped, go prone and do not attack, you are considered wounded.
In both cases, act accordingly.
BREAKING THESE RULES:
We understand that mistakes happen and expect them. YOU should also understand that others make mistakes, and expect them too. However, habitually breaking these rules may result in exclusion from participation in this arc.
COMBAT PROFESSION VS NON-COMBAT PROFESSION
Most of the rules here fail in this circumstance so greater leeway should be given to the non-combat profession vs a combat profession. Communicate prior to any hostile or what may be preceived hostile interaction. If the person playing the non-combat profession wants to avoid a conflict, work with them to allow them to do so. By nature, they have chosen a profession and playstyle that avoids conflict.
