Iari Kre'sil

But don't call her that. Iari is no longer a part of her family and has therefore dropped the family and clan name completly long ago.
She left her homeworld of Bothawui shortly after getting into an argument with her older brother on who was the better pilot, even though she had beaten him in every race they had ever flown. When her father gave her brother the family ship and the entire busuness is when the fight started. The argument ended with her holding a small blaster and her brother missing half of his right ear. She ran away soon after.
Sure that one so young would never be able to leave the planet or survive on her own.

Her family tried to find her, even went so far as to hire a bounty hunter to bring her back, to no avail. After 3 months they gave up hope that she was alive and that surely some beast had made a snack of her by now, they paid the bounty hunter and went on with their lives.

Unknown to them she did not go far, she stowed away on the family transport and got off when it made the first stop. Tatooine.
She found herself completly alone, lost and wandering the back allies of Mos Espa at the age of 17, running with one of the many small gangs in the city. She took to wearing very concealing clothing, robes with the hood up to hide that fact that she was female as well as Bothan, and soon gained a reputation as being small and fast with a blaster. One fateful evening she was in the middle of rumagaing through the den of a small house she had broken into when for the first time in her life she was caught completly unaware by a very old man. That meeting changed her life forever.

She tried the tough girl routine, waving her blaster about and telling him he had better be quiet or she was going to kill him. What stopped her dead in her tracks and left her staring in amazement is when he called her by the one name she never told anyone on this planet.
From that moment on, her life was changed, forever. The old man was a Jedi, she had heard stories about them, but had never seen or met one. He began telling her things about herself that had had kept hidden and buried for many years. She left that night, but not with what she had hoped to leave with, she only left with thoughts of who she was and what she had done these last 4 years living on the streets.

After a few days she went back to the old mans house, he welcomed her with open arms and just sat and talked for hours. As time went on he became the family that she had turned her back on. He began to teach her in the ways of the force and instructing her on what it is and means to be Jedi. She moved in with him soon after, becoming a very apt and willing student. A year later, she was out doing the weekly shopping for food and supplies when all of the sudden she felt a cold chill pass through her small form, she knew instantly that her master, her friend, was dead, having passed away peacefuly while he was sleeping. For the first time since she left her home tears streaked her face as she wandered silently around town and into the desert. Not stopping, not looking back at all.

She wandered the desert for over a month, hunting and eating what game animals she could. She made her way finally to Mos Eisley where she was stopped by a stranger and told that she had drawn the attention of some one by the name of Jabba the Hutt. She knew of the Hutt's but didn't pay much attention to the stories her old gang members used to tell. She was taken to meet with Jabba and agreed to work for him or her short life would come to an abrupt end. She was sent out many, many times to kill various people, in the process she was given a small ship of her own so that she could do as she was told. The days turned into weeks, the weeks turned into years. She grew tired of all the death and destruction, finally paying off her debt to Jabba and left his stronghold to move about as she now pleases.

Thinking long and hard about everything she had done, she sat quietly in the cantina and just watched the muscians play and the dancers dance. Looking around the crowd, seeing that many were not paying much attention to the performers, but the few that were, were smiling and dancing themselves, having a good time. It was then that she hung up her robes and took up the role of a dancer, swearing to forever bring some small pleasure into the world, to take people, if only briefly, to a better place, one filled with music, song and dance and away from their hard lives.
