Black Sands 4th Anniversary Shindig

On Tuesday night, April 15th, the City of Black Sands will be celebrating the 4th Anniversary of its official founding. (We had the place up and running long before that, but we weren't an official city until a spot opened up and we could place the city hall.) A lot of hard work by a number of people went into creating Black Sands and I always make a point to commemorate the anniversary in tribute to their contributions, even if they themselves are no longer playing the game.

We decided against the usual party and are going for something a little more subdued and laid back. In line with the regular Tuesday events, the Kreetles will be performing, but instead of playing at the Ryloth Ryll Den or the Desert Angel, they will be playing in our cantina, The One-Eyed Squill Tavern.

We will still be offering Jawa Beer and fireworks as has been the staple for every one of our city's anniversary celebrations. Of course, there will be the commemorative T-shirts because people inexplicably want them.

I have not requested any official support from the SOE Events team, but I am sure we can put the Story Teller props to good use if people are interested.

The event is as IC or OOC as you want it to be.
